HERE’S HOW YOUR RECREATIONAL YOUTH SOCCER CLUB CAN JOIN US AND REGISTER TEAMS FOR REC GAMES:

1) Your club must be sanctioned by Virginia Youth Soccer (VYSA).  If your club is not already sanctioned by VYSA, please reach out to Kristen Osteen at kristen@vysa.com to learn the process -OR- reach out to us directly at rvacross@gmail.com so we can consider whether an exception could be made for clubs who aren’t sanctioned by VYSA but have other insurance certification, and potentially another way to produce player passes to verify age of players.

2) Your club must currently have a certified Referee Assignor for all your home games. You can reach out to MASRA/CVSRA if you do not have a home assignor.

3) You must let us know your home field(s) and the times we are able to schedule games on them — you are responsible for field set up/getting refs/bookings for your home field!

4) Fees: the cost to join is $50 per team/season.

5) Clubs must input all registered teams (with coaches info and complete rosters) into GotSport by deadline for each season (3 weeks before the start of the Cross Association season).

6) Read and review the Cross Association Rules, coaches from each Club must also agree to compete by these rules.

7) Read and sign the RVA Cross Association Agreement.

8) Have a representative from your club attend the Pre Season Meeting and Post Season meeting (dates TBD)
